When is the Comedy School Graduation Showcase at DC Improv?
The Comedy School Graduation Showcase is scheduled for Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at DC Improv in Washington, DC. Check your ticket details and the venue's official channels for the latest event information.
What kind of event is the Comedy School Graduation Showcase?
This comedy showcase features performers celebrating their graduation from comedy school. It's a chance to discover emerging comics in the intimate setting of a Washington comedy club. The exact lineup and format may vary, so confirm event-specific details before attending.
Where is DC Improv, and what is the seating like?
DC Improv is located at 1140 Connecticut Ave NW in downtown Washington, DC. Its main showroom seats up to 270 guests at tables facing the stage, while a separate lounge holds 66. The club's compact layout gives the performances a close-up feel. Center tables near the stage are a good choice for guests who want a more interactive experience; seating is subject to availability and the event's configuration.
What are the best and worst seats at DC Improv?
For a lively, close-to-the-action view, look for center tables near the stage. There are no universally ?worst? seats in the intimate main showroom, and the venue notes that all seats offer good sightlines. If you prefer a little more distance from audience interaction, consider a table farther from the stage, when available.
How much do Comedy School Graduation Showcase tickets cost?
Prices currently start around $25, with resale listings commonly ranging from approximately $25 to $75 before fees. Ticket prices can change with availability and market demand, and the final total may include service or delivery fees. Review the complete price and seat details before placing an order.
Does DC Improv have parking?
DC Improv does not have on-site parking. Metered street parking may be available on Connecticut Avenue NW and nearby streets, but spaces can be limited on show nights. Commercial garages are within walking distance; for example, the 1101 L St NW Garage is at 1101 L St NW, Washington, DC 20005. Rates and availability vary. Check garage information before you travel.
What is the easiest way to reach DC Improv by public transportation?
Farragut North on the Red Line is about two blocks from the venue. Farragut West, served by the Orange, Blue, and Silver lines, is also nearby. Allow extra time to walk to the club and find your entrance before the show.
Can I take a rideshare to DC Improv?
Yes. Rideshare drop-off and pick-up are available on Connecticut Avenue NW in front of the venue. Arrange your pick-up away from the busiest curbside area if traffic is heavy after the performance.
Are food and drinks available at the venue?
DC Improv has a full restaurant and bar, and dinner-and-show packages may be available. A two-drink minimum typically applies, but requirements can vary by event. Check the venue's current policies and your event details before arrival.
What is DC Improv's bag policy?
Bag restrictions can depend on the event and venue operations. The supplied event information does not specify a bag-size policy, so contact DC Improv before attending if you plan to bring a large bag or need to carry essential items. Arriving with only a small personal bag can make entry easier.
How long does the showcase last, and will there be an opening act?
The event listing information provided does not confirm the show's duration, running order, or whether an opening act is scheduled. Graduation showcases may include multiple performers, so plan for a program that can differ from a single-comic set. Check the event details closer to October 7 for confirmed timing.
Is there an age restriction for the Comedy School Graduation Showcase?
The age restriction for this specific showcase has not been provided. Comedy-club age rules can vary by performance, so confirm the event's admission policy with DC Improv before buying tickets, especially if attending with a minor.
How do mobile tickets work when purchasing through TicketsFairfax?
If mobile delivery is offered for your listing, follow the order confirmation instructions to access your tickets on your phone. Check that your email address and phone number are correct, save the tickets to your mobile wallet if that option is available, and bring a charged device to the venue. Delivery methods and timing depend on the specific listing.
Are TicketsFairfax tickets guaranteed to be legitimate?
TicketsFairfax is a ticket marketplace, not DC Improv's official box office. Review the listing's seller and ticket details, along with the marketplace's applicable terms and guarantees, before completing a purchase. The venue information provided states that DC Improv sells tickets through dcimprov.com and advises customers not to purchase from third-party sites. For direct confirmation, contact DC Improv at (202) 296-7008 or support@dcimprov.com.
When will tickets be delivered?
Delivery timing depends on the ticket type and the seller's fulfillment method. Check the listing and order confirmation for the stated delivery window, and contact the marketplace's support team if your tickets have not arrived by the promised date.
